Mother's Day Dinner Kit Instructions

Thanks for ordering our special Mother's Day Dinner kit! We're using plenty of light ingredients paired with rich flavours, perfect for a warm evening in May. The kit is pretty straightforward, so you can keep your attention on family and less on assembly. The whole kit should take about 15 minutes.

What's Included

Burrata Salad
- 1 fresh burrata (150g)
- Tomato & Cucumber salad mix
- Croutons
- Prosciutto
- Fresh basil
- Balsamic vinaigrette

Scallop Cappelletti with Quebec Snow Crab
- 20 pieces of Scallop & potato Cappelletti
- Snow Crab & white wine butter sauce
- Crab infused olive oil
- Micro greens

Earl Grey Tiramisu
- Ready to serve


Instructions

1) Bring a large pot of water to a boil. A wider pot is better to avoid damaging your Cappelletti, or you can use 2 medium pots. 

--- First Course ---

2) Dress your salad by combining tomatoes, cucumbers and croutons in a mixing bowl with balsamic vinaigrette. Salt generously to taste.

3) Plate your salad ingredients on one large plate or two medium plates. Add slices of prosciutto throughout.

4) Slice your burrata in half and lay on top of your salad. Finish with your favourite olive oil, salt and pepper. 


--- Second Course ---

5) Cook Cappelletti from frozen for 5 minutes (use a timer).

6) In a large sauce pan, warm your Snow Crab with White Wine Butter sauce on medium heat, do not reduce. 

7) Use a spider or strainer to gently transfer cooked pasta to the sauce pan. Add 1-2 tablespoons of pasta water and a knob of butter (optional) to thicken the sauce. Gently swirl pan or stir to coat pasta with sauce, then salt to taste. 

8) Plate 5-6 pieces individually or on a large plate to share. Finish with crab oil and micro greens.

9) Your Earl Grey tiramisu is ready to serve!
