Casarecce is popular pasta in Southern Italy, originating in Sicily. We felt it was most suiting to create a traditional Pesto Alla Siciliana, using vine ripened cherry tomatoes and sundried tomatoes, garlic, pine nuts, thyme, Pecorino Romano and fresh ricotta. This pesto looks simple but has a lot of texture and depth. The kit comes together easily, with 400g of the pesto plus some grated Pecorino Romano to finish and fresh basil.
