Meinklang is a biodynamic permaculture located just over an hour south of Vienna in Austria. They make their pesticides and fungicides from wild ingredients like chamomile, horsetail, and yarrow found between the vines. They are true champions of biodiversity; not only do they tend wine grapes, but they raise farm animals and grow indigenous ancient grains. They listen to the minute seasonal changes and perform most vineyard tasks according to the moon's cycles.

This wine is made from Grüner Veltliner. Sommeliers praise this grape as 'a swiss army knife' for its ability to pair with challenging dishes - especially vegetables like artichoke, brussels sprouts, and in this case, asparagus. It is energetic and charming with aromas of fresh pear, green fig, wild sage, and apple blossom.
